Best Ever Christmas Story, Movie, and Books

Christmas is definitely a great time to watch holiday movies or catch up on your reading. And today is week three of The Wilder Roses Christmas tour. Be sure to follow the blogs and posting rules listed at  http://rosestour.blogspot.com to find out how to increase your chances of winning some fabulous prizes.

I'm personally giving away The Man of My Dreams---candle scent. lol! Just post a comment about the man of your dreams or, tell me about your favorite Christmas movie, story or book. But first, check out what Nana Malone has to say.

Well, Nana, what would you consider a Best Ever movie for the holidays?

Mistletoe, Hugh Grant and Liam Neeson
I love a hot man with my mistletoe.  That’s why I love the movie Love Actually.  It’s my all time favorite.  It’s got young love, unrequited love, enduring love, and even pseudo porn star love.  What’s not to love?
Did I mention Hugh grant and Mr. Darcy himself, Colin Firth?  Liam Neeson and Alan Rickman.  And hold on to you knickers ladies, but it also has Brazilian Love God, Rodrigo Santoro.  If that doesn’t just say yum, I don’t know what does.

Oh yeah, there are also some lovely vignettes with romance to spare and excellent actors like Bill Nighy, Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson.

If you haven’t seen it, add it to your must view list.  Pull up a comfy chair, a warm blanky, some hot chocolate and cuddle up with the hotties of Christmas.

Who are your favorite Christmas hotties?  And no, Santa doesn’t’ count unless he’s carting diamonds.

Nana Malone is a fellow Wild Rose Press author, and her new release, Game, Set, Mach is a romance that heats up the courts and could well heat up your Christmas!

Book Blurb:

Off the court, tennis star Jason Cartwright’s playboy image is taking a public beating. On the court, he’s down forty-love. A knee injury is shutting down his game, and the paparazzi are splashing his love life on every magazine. A comeback is in order, but the makeover he needs to save his faltering career is in the hands of the woman he loved and left fifteen years ago.

While single-mom, Izzy Connors, sees people for who they really are through the lens of her camera, even without it, she knows Jason isn’t the star he appears to be. Although his charm and good looks haven’t dimmed since he broke her heart, all she sees is his wasted talent and playboy lifestyle.

Can Izzy put the past behind her and help Jason get his game, and his image, back on track? Or will the click of her camera shatter his world as well as his heart?

  5. That's a great choice of movie, Nana. Now why didn't I think of that?!

Lilly - I've been giving some thought to your Dream Man question and I still don't have an answer! It's got to be either Stefan or Damon from The Vampire Diaries, but it's almost impossible to choose between brroding & sensitive, or dangerous but fun.

  8. Love Actually is a great Christmas movie, Nana. I'll watch it any time.

My favorite movie is from my childhood. The Grinch. I can pratically recite the narrative by heart. Every year the kids and I watch it multiple times and it never ceases to get old when the Grinch's heart grows and grows and grows.
